About This Site
What is Connor's Weather Page?
+
Connor's Weather Page (connorsweatherpage.com) is a free, ad-free weather dashboard covering the United States and the Atlantic hurricane basin. It brings interactive NEXRAD radar, live hurricane tracking, SPC severe weather and tornado outlooks, wind and jet stream analysis, and local point forecasts together on one site, with a companion iOS app.
Where does the weather data come from?
+
All data on Connor's Weather Page comes from official public sources: the National Hurricane Center for tropical systems, the Storm Prediction Center for convective and tornado outlooks, the Weather Prediction Center for rainfall forecasts, the National Weather Service for radar and active warnings, NOAA's HURDAT2 archive for historical hurricane tracks, and Open-Meteo for point forecasts. Nothing is modeled or forecast in-house.
Is Connor's Weather Page free to use?
+
Yes. Connor's Weather Page is completely free, requires no account or sign-up, and carries no ads or paywall. The iOS app is free as well.
Can I use this site as my official weather warning source?
+
No. Connor's Weather Page is a visualization layer over public data and is provided for informational purposes only. For official watches, warnings, and advisories, rely on the National Weather Service at weather.gov or the National Hurricane Center at nhc.noaa.gov.
How often does the data update?
+
Radar imagery and active warnings on Connor's Weather Page refresh every few minutes, National Hurricane Center advisories update on the standard six-hour advisory cycle with intermediate updates as needed, and SPC outlooks update on their published issuance schedule. Any value read from the site is a point-in-time snapshot.
